I’ve been so hooked on teas for quite sometime now, thanks to some lovely people!

I used to be a total hot-choco girl…but working everyday at an office with tea people forced me to give these bags of crushed ingredients a try. The very first one I tried was the Lipton Tea, because of course that was a very familiar tea to sight, the others I tried were the Twinings Tea, the Kericho Gold Tea in so many flavors and also the Pukka Tea Brand which has been my absolute favorite!

The best way I can possibly describe the Pukka Tea is the feeling you get from holding a new-born. The taste is quite different from all of the other teas, the taste of original herbs grinded with so much care. Just as-if the makers swear on the authenticity of making the tea with their heads on a stake. That’s how great I think the Pukka tea is!

How I take my teas, I take a bag of tea and drop it into half a cup of boiling hot water, I let it brew for some minutes, add some cubes of sugar, sometimes I add a teaspoon or two of milk and sometimes I don’t… and I fill the cup with water at room temperature. This is because I have a love-hate relationship with super hot tea or drinks.

I also find teas super relieving when that time of the month comes where one feels a lot of pain and have my emotions all over the place. A cup of steaming hot tea this time around is usually calming for me.

Also, I do believe that teas in general do have healthy benefits to the body that are mostly taken lightly. For example, after taking a cup of tea, or while drinking even, I most times feel some tracts in by body sort of become unclogged, plus if I had a poor night rest, taking a cup of tea brightens my mood, and that for me means a great start to my day! My new obsession with teas have also helped reduce my sugar intake, as my hot chocolate days was a sugar delight in a every cup. hahaaa!

Once in a while, I decide to have the standard milo when I feel like it…and that for sure is as good as it gets 🙂 I’m no preacher, but I love to let people on the good things of life that I’ve had, and today it happens to be teas….the PUKKA TEA in particular and exactly because this tea tastes nothing less than the truthhhh!

these are the other varieties of tea I’ve had…

…and ohh! if you do come across the PUKKA tea in any store you visit, be friendly enough to send a message to me via my IG as this tea is super scarce in these streets. They also have a variety of flavors as I noticed on their official site (just to debunk the thought you might have of it being a tea for women only).

I also got this affordable & cute little cup from a friend and it has served me and my tea game so much good. You can visit and send them a message on instagram @GLITTERGIRL_HQ to grab one for yourself.

I took some lovely pictures at my workplace as you can see, they came out beautiful, and as usual I’m so happy about that. Thanks for reading about my timeless obsession with teas, I hope you enjoyed reading and I’ll see you guys in the next post!
