No, not bread and butter fam. First, I’d like to say thanks for “tuning in” to today’s post. Every reader on my blog makes me feel superb about my decision to take up blogging, so THANK YOU plenty for being here!

Obviously, I had to prepare drafts of blog posts ranging from recipes to articles because I felt this month was going to be totally raggedy for me (which seemingly is, lol), and I didn’t want to miss posting my weekly blog posts, because in a way actively working on my site makes me feel somewhat whole (saying that really shyyy 🤭). So once again, thank you for visiting me here huns. Moving forward, I know I haven’t properly confessed my love for bread to my new friends here. So here’s me talking about my guiltiest pleasure (BREAD) like it’s Ice cream. The basis of today’s post is to talk all things bread only because I believe it’s the best food innovation to be made out of flour 🙂 What’s better than a baked good that’s as vertile to be as soft as the cloud, tough as a rock (baguette), can be eaten with other foods and stays delicious.

A little story time. My mum as the kitchen sponsor, lol)… decided that she would only buy bread for the household once a week claiming that the economy is moving mad and she was also screaming that she wouldn’t be able to keep up with our fast bread consumption & appetite, and boyyyy I was so sadd! A few weeks went by with me struggling to get used to the new normal, but I couldn’t just take it anymore. I decided to start buying a loaf whenever I felt like it, not until I noticed how much my bank pocket was suffering from this my told love for bread. The gyal had to go looking for alternatives….I figured, a whole chef shouldn’t be a suffer head like thattttt, and I just decided to start a bread bake test journey. I went googling and watching videos on the best bread recipes I could find. I started mix matching recipes because that of course is another specialty of mine. I’m sure my internet friends on IG noticed, I was steady showing off pictures of the different bread batches and buns I baked (I’ve got pictures uploaded in this article as prove)… from milk bread loaves to burger buns; good thing I had my siblings home to taste my experiments coz that’s what love is abouuttttttt……

Anyways, I finally came up with a recipe that made me feel like I was having a taste of one of the bread I would buy from my favorite bakery & I decided to stick to tht one recipe. This decision saved me a whole lot of money, satisfied and will continue to satisfy all of my bread cravings, and of course got my mum singing praises on my head, heheeee.

So if you love bread as much as I do, this one’s definitely for you! I’m just going to share the recipe card for my bread that I put together to make having this recipe handy.
All you have to do is to long-press on the recipe card and click “download image”, just as you do in any other site.

That’s all on today’s post. I really love the recipe card idea and I think I’ll be doing more of that moving forward. If you think it’s a great idea too, please let me know. Thank you for reading, have a lovely weekend and happy baking to all the “bread-hooked” Huns!
